Peptides

Peptides  in skin care help to correct damaged skin or maintain healthy, youthful skin.
Peptides are like mini proteins and proteins are made of long chains of amino acids. Peptides are ‘tricksters’ for the skin. When your collagen breaks down due to ageing, sun damage, and environmental toxins, it forms its own peptides that tell your skin it is damaged and it needs to make new collagen.Peptides are smaller molecule proteins. In a typical collagen cream, the collagen protein is intact, too large to penetrate the dermis. Because the  collagen in peptide creams are small, they have superior absorption dynamics, able to penetrate the dermis and be utilised and improve skin quality. Intact collagen proteins, such as contained in typical collagen creams, cannot improve skin quality.
