Lycon Wax - We've Removed the Pain from Waxing – well almost!

If you have been waxed before your probably reading this thinking pain free waxing doesn't exist and you’re right it doesn't. But the level of pain you should experience while having a wax should be minimal. It comes down to 3 things, (1) the wax, (2) the way the wax is applied and (3) the way it is removed. All 3 are essential to ensure you receive a comfortable wax and our dedicated team of wax experts have mastered the art of waxing and use a technique that will ensure your wax is as pain free as possible.

We use Lycon Hot Wax for ALL our Face, Underarm and Bikini waxing, we NEVER use strip wax on these sensitive areas. Lycon wax consists of only the finest resins, natural ingredients and aromatherapy oils and delivers superior performance removing stubborn hairs as short as 1mm (1/16").
The amazing low temperature of the wax nurtures and conditions the skin during treatment for extra client comfort. This is one of those things in life that has to be seen to be believed, or in this case you have to feel it to believe. The first stage of the process is specially formulated oil that is applied to the treatment area that acts as a barrier between the wax and the skin. This oil conditions the skin and prevents the wax sticking to the skin when it is removed. Because the hot wax is applied in a thick layer to the skin it takes a few minutes to harden, the heat from the wax allows the follicle to open more reducing client discomfort when it is removed.

Although not completely without sensation we have developed a system of waxing that is designed with you in mind. Quick, but not rushed in anyway, Effective, ensuring the best wax possible and Safe, leaving you with nothing but smooth beautiful skin.

Where Do We Use Strip Wax?

As the hair is different on different parts of your body (eg. lower leg vs. bikini line) hot wax is not suitable for all areas of the body. In these areas the strip wax performs a better, cleaner wax on legs, back, arms, chest etc. As the hair in these areas is normally lighter in texture the strip wax generally works best for these areas but you can be assured it is never used on any of the more sensitive areas of the body.
