Digestion is key to good health.


Digestion is important for health

You cannot have a healthy body if you are constipated. Often skin, nervous, reproductive and immune disorders result from an unclean colon.
Ensure you are having at least 2-3 big soft bowel movements daily! Banana shaped, golf ball shaped and pellets are all constipated. 
To get your bowels moving well. Drink plenty of water and drink herbal teas. Lepicol is also excellent – it contains psyllium husk etc.
Take linseeds every day, at least 2-4 tablespoons. You can mix them into soup or cereals, sprinkle them on your food. Place 2 tablespoons in a mug of boiling water, stir every few minutes and drink when warm. I prefer to use whole golden linseeds. This is a lovely drink to have in the evening time. 
Exercise daily.
Avoid constipating foods such as dairy, eggs, wheat and processed foods.
Stress and emotional imbalance can cause constipation. So take active steps in identifying and releasing stress and tension. Try Yoga / Ti-chi/ Meditation.
